One of the innovations that resumed on November 1, 2024 is a cheaper start on any Shopify plan. Its terms are:

  1. When registering a new store, you get 3 days of free use of the store (a trial period to get acquainted with the platform).
  2. At the end of the trial period, a grace period of 3 months begins. During the grace period, the cost of a Shopify subscription will not exceed $1/month.
  3. Once the grace period is over, you can pay the standard price for your chosen Shopify plan. However, you can save 10% - 50% if you pay for a plan for a year or several years in advance.

The preferential tariff is available to all users of the platform and is activated automatically. At any stage, you can refuse further payments and close your store.
